Workers engaged in outdoor or high-heat environments are at risk of developing occupational diseases due to insufficient fluid intake, excessive sweating, and increased respiration, which can lead to dehydration. Physical activity combined with a hot work environment can significantly affect the hydration status of workers. This study aims to analyze the factors influencing the hydration status of paddy farmers in Pakantan District, Mandailing Natal. The research employed a cross-sectional study design with a sample size of 97 respondents, selected using a simple random sampling technique. The research instrument used was a questionnaire, and multivariate data analysis was conducted using multiple logistic regression tests. The results showed that physical activity (p-value = 0.028) and fluid intake (p-value = 0.0001) significantly influenced the hydration status of paddy farmers. The most dominant factor affecting hydration status was physical activity, with an Exp (B) value of 5.691. This indicates that respondents who engage in heavy physical activity have a 5.691 times higher risk of experiencing poor hydration or dehydration compared to those with moderate or low physical activity levels. In conclusion, the factors influencing the hydration status of paddy farmers are physical activity and fluid intake. Workers are advised to maintain adequate fluid intake to prevent dehydration. Farmers should carry and consume sufficient water while working, with a recommended daily intake of 2,500 ml.en_US
