| dc.description.abstract | Fish smoking is a preservation method used to enhance shelf life and improve the
flavor quality of fish. However, traditional smoking methods still face several
limitations, such as dependence on firewood and weather conditions. This research
aims to design and test an automatic temperature control system based on the
Internet of Things (IoT) using the ESP32 microcontroller and DS18B20
temperature sensor. The system includes temperature setting via a potentiometer
and data display through an LCD screen and an Android application built with MIT
App Inventor. The system was tested at temperatures of 35°C, 40°C, 45°C, 50°C,
and 55°C. The results show that the tool successfully maintains the set temperature
with minimal deviation and accurately displays real-time temperature data on both
the LCD and the mobile application. The control system can automatically operate
the heater and fan based on the current room temperature. Furthermore, the system
reduces reliance on firewood and allows for remote operation, making it more
environmentally friendly and efficient. | en_US |
