The Aek Boruan “and Aek Bontar River Watersheds (DAS) are 28.15 kilometers long and are located in the upstream. In the middle part of the watershed, anthropogenic activities such as sand dredging, agriculture, and bathing, washing, and toileting (MCK) occur. To determine the diversity of fish species, abundance, diversity index, and dominance index were used to assess diversity. Furthermore, the XLSTAT application was used to analyze the relationship between diversity and waters in the Aek Boruan and Aek Bontar Rivers. This study aims to identify the types of fish in the Aek Boruan and Aek Bontar rivers. Furthermore, the second objective is to determine how the physicochemical parameters in the two rivers correlate with the diversity of these fish species. This quantitative descriptive study used purposive sampling as research stations. In addition, physicochemical parameters of the water were measured, including temperature (°C), pH, DO, depth, clarity, and current velocity. The results of the study show a structure of eight species and six families with moderate diversity. The results of the study indicate that fish species diversity in the Aek Boruan and Aek Bontar Rivers is positively correlated with physical’ parameters, particularly depth, and chemical parameters, specifically DO, with a very weak interpretation. Conversely, parameters such as temperature, pH, depth, and brightness” are negatively correlated with fish species diversity, with a very weak interpretation..en_US
