    Abstract
Tuberculosis (TB) is an infectious disease caused by the Mycobacterium tuberculosis bacterium, affecting the lungs and other organs. Efforts to combat tuberculosis have been implemented in several countries including Indonesia. One of the latest strategies is the End TB Program, outlined in the government policy, Presidential Regulation No. 67 of 2021. At Bandar Khalipah Public Health Center, TB cases have increased, from 286 cases in 2021 to 554 cases in 2022. However, the center has not reached the TB case detection target. This is due to suboptimal program implementation. This study aims to assess the implementation of the TB control program at Bandar Khalipah Health Center, Deli Serdang District. A qualitative research method was employed with in-depth interviews. Data were collected from 8 informants, including staff from the Health Office’s P2P program, the head of public health center, TB coordinators, laboratory staff, health cadres, PMOs, cured patients, and patients still undergoing treatment. The findings reveral that while the TB control program is implemented at Bandar Khalipah Public health center, is not yet fully effective. Issues such as unclear TB information contributing to social stigma, Lack of commitment anda responbility from healthcare staff, and inadequate resources like a shortage of TCM cartridges hinder progress. Cross-sectoral cooperation betweenthe government, health workers and the community is crucial to ensure the success of the TB control program.
