Increased electricity needs accompanied by limited resources is a big problem in today's times. Reuse of used batteries is the right solution, while keeping in mind the quality of current and output voltage. This study analyzed the performance of test batteries using a variety of easily available, abundant, and inexpensive electrolytes, compared to conventional electrolytes. Coconut water and salt water are chosen as alternatives to conventional electrolytes, such as sulfuric acid. The copper-zinc electrode (Zn-Cu) pair was chosen because of its good corrosion resistance to corrosive electrolytes. Battery performance testing is carried out simultaneously on each test electrolyte with identical dimensions, and monitored every 5 minutes to observe the current and voltage drop at the 3V LED load. The use of Arduino and current sensors is required to record data until the entire test battery runs out of power. The results showed that sulfuric acid electrolytes had a decrease in the best voltage value, followed by salt water and coconut water. A similar thing is also observed in the decrease in current value.en_US
