dc.description.abstractDue to the growing social problems like juvenile delinquency and smartphone addiction, the Medan Youth Center has been designed as a multifunctional center in the city of Medan. The Center is situated at Pangkalan Masyhur, Medan Johor, in a government owned land of 2.2 hectare with an approximate building area of 6000 m². The construction includes a Thermal and Visual comfort for the users adopting a Tropical Architectural Approach. This design maintains sports services which include futsal, basketball, E-sport, creative arts, dance art and music, entrepreneurship training, and commercial space. The technique utilized in the design is descriptive, which includes primary data captured from site observation and interviews and secondary data which includes literature and comparative studies. The aim is to facilitate a civic educational and recreational facility for the youth that will uplift the socio-urban ecosystemen_US
