    Abstract
Lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender (LGBT) are deviant sexual orientations that continue to increase in line with the phenomenon of shifting views of Indonesian society regarding homosexuality and are very closely related to risky behaviors that have many impacts on health, as many as 78 percent of LGBT perpetrators are infected with sexually transmitted diseases. The purpose of this study is to explore risky behaviors carried out by the LGBT community in Medan City, find out the influencing factors, and find out the health impact. This type of research is qualitative research using a case study approach. The informants of this study were eight people who were selected with the snawball sampling technique. Data collection was carried out by in-depth interviews with analysis using the Collaizzi approach. The results of the study showed that there were three themes found, namely risky behaviors carried out in the LGBT community, factors that affect risky behaviors, and health impacts. Based on the results of the study, it is suggested that there is a need to increase health promotion focusing on sexual health for the LGBT community which includes information on the prevention of sexually transmitted infections, the importance of using contraceptives such as condoms, and reproductive health education carried out by the government in preventing physical and mental health impacts.
