This study aims to identify the influence of Hofstede's cultural dimensions in the selection of playing styles in the USU e-sport online gaming community, previous research has shown that there are differences in online gaming styles in the context of citizenship, so this study wants to see how Hofstede's cultural dimensions affect the playing style of the players, especially the members of this community, this study uses quantitative research methods by involving the entire population of 105 respondents because this number is still possible to involve the entire population as a sample in this study, the data analysis technique used in this study uses the Spearman correlation analysis test to see the effect between two variables, the t-test to see differences in two groups and the ANOVA test, The data analysis technique used in this study uses the spearman correlation analysis test to see the effect between two variables, the t-test to see the difference in two groups and the ANOVA test, the theoretical reference used is Hofstede's six dimensions of culture with Bialas' playing style to find findings that show the significance value of the correlation between the two variables 0, 001 <0.05 with this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted there is a significant influence between culture and playing style between online game players in the USU e-sport community, the results of this study also show a significant difference between the playing style of women and the playing style of men in the t-test results with a significance value of 0.012 <0.05.
