Increasing rice production can be done by using certified seeds. Dormancy is one of the obstacles in the rice seed testing process. Eco-enzyme is expected to be used for dormancy breaking and germination in testing certified rice seeds. This study aims to obtain the appropriate concentration and soaking duration of Eco- enzyme in breaking the dormancy of rice seeds of the Inpari 32 HDB variety and to determine the potential of Eco-enzyme in breaking the dormancy of rice seeds of the Inpari 32 HDB variety replacing 0.2% KNO3. This research was conducted in the seed quality testing laboratory UPTD. Sertifikasi Benih Tanaman Pangan dan Hortikultura, Provinsi Sumatera Utara. This study used a factorial randomized block design, with the first factor being the eco-enzyme dose and the second factor being the soaking time. Inpari 32 HDB rice seeds were used, and the eco-enzyme materials were mustard greens and orange peel. The results of the study showed that the use of eco-enzyme with concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15% with a soaking time of 24 and 48 hours can increase the percentage of normal germination, vigor index, maximum growth potential in breaking dormancy and germination of Inpari 32 HDB rice seeds, as well as the use of eco-enzyme based on mustard greens and orange peel with concentrations of 5%, 10% and 15% as an alternative to replace KNO3 to break dormancy and germination of Inpari 32 HDB rice seeds.
