Musik Hardcore Fingerprint di Kota Medan (2003-2015)

Abstract

This study discusses the history of the establishment of a Hardcore band in the city of Medan, namely Fingerprint, which began with a movement and community and underground music movement in the city of Medan, how their development and influence on the hardcore community in the city of Medan, after going through various obstacles. The purpose of this study is to explain the background of the presence of hardcore music in the city of Medan, the establishment and development of Fingerprint hardcore music in the city of Medan and explain the obstacles and challenges of Fingerprint to the development of the hardcore music community in the city of Medan. This study uses a historical method, which begins with topic selection, heuristics, criticism, interpretation and historiography. The results of the study show that Fingerprint has been successful as a band after successfully consistently working and becoming one of the local talents of the city of Medan who are worthy of being reckoned with in the Indonesian music industry. This also makes their name seen and respected in the activities and movements of the hardcore community in the city of Medan with the influence they give.
