dc.description.abstractIn some cases, pets are often separated from their owners. Having an identification tag on an animal doesn't always guarantee that anyone who finds it will be able to identify its owner. This study aims to develop and implement an Internet of Things (IoT)-based pet tracking system that utilizes Global Positioning System (GPS) devices and tamper sensors. This system is designed to provide real-time location information and security notifications to pet owners, thereby improving security and making it easier to monitor pets. The IoT tracking device is installed on the pet and periodically sends GPS location data and tamper sensor status to the server. The server then processes the data and sends notifications via Telegram to the pet owner if any interference is detected on the tracking device or if the pet leaves the specified geofencing area. The test results show that this system successfully provides accurate and responsive location information, as well as effective notifications, thus helping pet owners monitor and protect their pets.en_US
