    Abstract
A combustion engine is a type of intensity motor that converts chemical energy into mechanical energy and the transformation is completed in the actual motor. The objectives of this research are: (1) To analyze the power output of a standard Honda Beat crankshaft compared to a modified crankshaft; (2) To analyze the torque of the standard Honda Beat crankshaft compared to the modified crankshaft; (3) To examine changes in cylinder volume due to crankshaft modification; and (4) To analyze the impact of piston stroke length modification on fuel consumption. This research was conducted using an experimental method, which aims to determine the causal relationship between two influencing factors. An explanatory investigation procedure was applied by directly observing and recording the results. The conclusions drawn from this study are as follows: The maximum power of the standard crankshaft (55 mm stroke) was 8.876 Hp at 5800 rpm, while the modified crankshaft (59 mm stroke) produced 9.370 Hp at 5500 rpm, resulting in a 5.57% increase. The maximum torque of the standard crankshaft was 10.6 N·m at 5600 rpm, whereas the modified crankshaft produced 11.8 N·m at 5300 rpm, showing an increase of 11.32%. The piston cylinder volume increased from 108 cc with the standard crankshaft to 116 cc with the modified crankshaft. Fuel consumption increased by 39.93% under a 55 kg load and by 41% under a 130 kg load after stroke modification.
