    Abstract
This study analyzes the spiritual values and spiritual journey of the main character Chihiro in the anime Spirited Away by Hayao Miyazaki. This animation was chosen because of its representation of spiritual transformation from immaturity to maturity through interaction with the spirit world. Reflected Japanese philosophical concepts such as "wabi-sabi" (acceptance of imperfection) and the ritual of "misogi" (self-purification) as spiritual values of Japanese society. By using descriptive qualitative research methods and content analysis techniques on scenes, dialogues, and symbols in the movies, data was collected through note-taking techniques on conversations between characters. This study was examined through Abraham Maslow's humanistic psychology theory (Hierarchy of Needs), the concept of Wabi-sabi, and Japanese society's beliefs. This study concludes that spirituality is not a pursuit of perfection, but the courage to accept imperfection and flow with change, where Chihiro's spiritual maturation through conflict is in line with the values of "wabi-sabi" and the ritual of "misogi", while fulfilling Maslow's psychological stages. Therefore, it can be said that "Spirited Away" an effectively reflects the Japanese philosophy of harmony, introspection, and self-growth.
