Analysis of the Influence of Competency and Compensation on Employee Loyalty at the Pematangsiantar Tentara Hospital
Abstract
This study aims to provide new knowledge and determine the effect of competence and compensation on employee loyalty at Pematangsiantar Tentara Hospital. Human resource management in hospitals must be carried out with good human resource management in order to have a competitive advantage. The achievement of hospital goals does not only depend on modern and sophisticated machines or infrastructure, but rather depends on the human resources who carry out the work. The success of a hospital is greatly influenced by the performance of its employees, therefore the hospital will definitely try to improve employee performance in order to achieve company goals optimally. This study uses primary data and secondary data using quantitative research types. The population in this study were all employees working at the Army Hospital, totaling 394 employees consisting of 244 employees in the medical field and 150 employees in the non-medical field. The results of the study show that Competence and Compensation simultaneously have a significant effect on Employee Loyalty in employees at the Pematangsiantar Tentara Hospital.
