Strategi to increase community income through The tourism sector in meat village in Tampahan district Toba regency
Abstract
Tourism potential in tourist villages in Meat can be one source to increase economic added value for rural communities, through strengthening natural tourism products with cultural support and local wisdom. However, tourists are less interested in visiting the meat tourism village which results in a decrease in the income of the Meat village community. Research needs to be done to find out what strategies are used to increase the income of the Meat tourism village community. The author uses descriptive and qualitative methods. Library research (library research) and Field research (field research). The results of this study are that it turns out that the community has used marketing methods, namely making advertisements in the form of invitations on social media, creating events so that the Meat tourist village is recognized by people. However, the efforts made have not been maximized.
