Advances in financial technology have encouraged the emergence of various forms
of digital investment, one of which is digital gold which is now increasingly in
demand by young people. This study aims to evaluate the interest of students in
Medan City in digital gold investment by examining the influence of financial
literacy and investment knowledge. The approach used is quantitative with
associative research type. Data was collected through a Likert scale questionnaire
from 90 active students selected by purposive and snowball sampling. The analysis
technique used was multiple linear regression. The research findings show that
partially, investment knowledge has a significant influence on students' interest in
investing in digital gold. In contrast, financial literacy does not have a significant
impact. However, when tested simultaneously, investment knowledge and financial
literacy proved to have a joint influence on students' interest in investing.
