Skin disorders are one of the most common occupational health risks faced by fish vendors, mainly due to exposure to water and biological agents in a damp and unhygienic work environment. This study aimed to determine the factors associated with skin disorders among fish vendors at Pasar Sembada, Medan. This research used a quantitative approach with a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of all 52 fish vendors, selected through total sampling. Data were collected using a questionnaire and analyzed using binary logistic regression. The results showed that age (p=0.000), gender (p=0.000), length of work (p=0.001) and personal hygiene (p=0.001) were significantly associated with skin disorders. Traders who are <30 years old, male, have worked for <5 years and have poor personal hygiene are at higher risk of experiencing skin disorders. It is necessary to increase awareness of the importance of maintaining personal hygiene.
