    Abstract
Ergonomics is a field that studies how to adapt work to workers rather than forcing their bodies to fit their work. Ergonomic factors such as prolonged sitting, whole body vibration, and manual load handling will cause occupational diseases such as musculoskeletal disorders. This study aims to analyze the factors related with musculoskeletal disorders of convection workers at Small Industry Center Medan. This research method is analytic quantitative research with a cross sectional approach. The sampling technique used total sampling with a sample size of 35 workers. Musculoskeletal disorder data were collected using the Nordic Body Map (NBM) questionnaire, work posture data were measured using the Rapid Entire Body Assessment (REBA) sheet, work duration data were measured using a stopwatch, and repetitive motion frequency data were measured using a stopwatch and observation sheet. The majority of respondents experienced musculoskeletal disorders, with the highest prevalence of complaints in the back (100%), followed by the right wrist (60%) and the left wrist (57.1%). These findings indicate that poor work posture, prolonged work duration, and repetitive motion frequency are the primary risk factors for musculoskeletal disorders.Data analysis was performed using the Spearman correlation statistical test with a p-value of <0.05. The results also show that there is a relationship between work posture, work duration, and repetitive motion with musculoskeletal disorders in workers. It is recommended for workers to pay attention to posture while working and take periodic active breaks and stretches aimed at reducing muscle tension due to repetitive motion and long work duration.
