Palm oil is one of the leading commodities in the plantation sector in Indonesia, contributing significantly to the national Gross Domestic Product (GDP) and becoming a major source of income for millions of farmers and workers. PT. PP. London Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk Bah Lias Estate implements the Big Hole planting model with the aim of increasing productivity but operational challenges occur. This study aims to analyze the factors that affect the productivity of oil palm plantations in the Big Hole planting area in Division 3 Manahul and differences in oil palm plantation productivity in Big Hole and Non-Big Hole planting areas. The data used is secondary data obtained through the company and data processing is carried out with IBM SPSS Statistics version 25 with multiple linear regression analysis and differential test methods. The results of the study stated that the variables of operational costs, rainfall, number of workers, and the number of rainy days simultaneously had a significant effect on productivity. Operational cost and rainfall variables do not have a significant effect on productivity but the number of workers and the number of rainy days partially have a significant effect on productivity. There is a significant difference productivity between Manahul and Sugaran. In addition, the analysis of production cost efficiency showed that the Big Hole method produced operational costs of Rp 18.02/kg, more efficient than the Non-Big Hole method which reached Rp 104.67/kg. This shows that the Big Hole method is not only superior in productivity but also economically.en_US
