The city f Sibolga has a very large fish income. The fish obtained are usually sold, and
this is still done manually (not yet through e-commerce and internet networks). This
manual system takes quite a lot of time, because potential consumers and the port only
communicate by telephone. The consumer will first ask the seller what products are
available, in what quantity, and at what price. Considering the many types of catches
that can be obtained, it will take a lot of time. Part from that, if a certain type of fish is
not available, they cannot know in real tiime when the fish be available. Tjos research
offers a system to make it easier to provide informastion on fish catches in the city of
Sibolga. With this system, byters will easily see fish avaiilability and details, and can
also make purchases directly from this application. In this application there are also
recommendations for consumers just before payment is made. One method that can be
used is Market Basket Analysis (MBA). This method plays a role in identifying
products that are frequently purchased together from transaction databy utilizing
shopping behaviour patterns analysis with the help of the FP-Growth algorithm. This
method will later used by analyzing beehavioral patterns of previous purchases, where
fish that are often purchased together will be recommended at the end.
