This study aims to describe the level of national identity in the keris community in Indonesia. The background of this research is based on the urgency of preserving local culture as an integral part of the nation's identity. This study used a descriptive quantitative approach involving 105 participants from various keris communities in Indonesia. The instrument used was the National Identity Scale which consists of three main aspects, namely national pride, exclusive national belonging, and national devotion. The results showed that 95% of respondents had a high level of national identity, with a high proportion of scores on all aspects: 99% for national pride, 96% for exclusive national belonging, and 92% for national devotion. This finding indicates that individuals who are members of the keris community tend to have a strong attachment to national identity. This is reinforced by the high scores on the three aspects of national identity that were measured. In addition, the majority of respondents who were of Javanese origin and Muslim also showed high levels of national identity, suggesting a link between cultural and religious backgrounds and the strengthening of national identity in the context of traditional cultural preservation.en_US
