Tuberculosis (TB) is a chronic infectious disease that not only impacts physical conditions but also psychological and social aspects of sufferers. One psychological factor that can affect the quality of life of TB sufferers is religious coping strategies. This study aims to determine the role of Positive Religious Coping (PRC) and Negative Religious Coping (NRC) on the quality of life of TB sufferers in Medan City. The research design used was a quantitative correlational with a multiple linear regression approach. The sample consisted of 72 people, selected using a convenience sampling technique. The instruments used were the Brief RCOPE to measure PRC and NRC, and the WHOQOL-BREF to measure quality of life. The results of the analysis showed that simultaneously, PRC and NRC had a significant effect on quality of life (p < 0.001), with a contribution of 50.5%. Partially, PRC has a positive and significant effect on quality of life (β = 0.581; p < 0.001), while NRC has a significant negative effect (β = –0.238; p = 0.012). This finding emphasizes the importance of spiritual support in the care of TB patients, especially by encouraging the use of positive religious coping strategies to improve their quality of life.en_US
