    Abstract
School-age children need nutritious food intake to support their growth and development. If the child's diet lacks the necessary nutrients and this condition continues for a long period of time, the child's brain metabolism will change and the child's thinking ability will decrease. The type of research used in this study is observational analytic. With a cross sectional approach. The population taken in this study were students of SD 064979 Medan Sunggal District. The sample taken was 100 students with the total sampling method. Data were collected using a 24-hour food recall form, anthropometry, and average odd semester report card scores for the 2024/2025 school year. The results showed that the intake of nutrients in students was in the sufficient category by 56 percent, the nutritional status of students was in the good nutrition category by 56 percent, and the learning achievement of students was in the good category by 62 percent. Based on the results of the study there is a variable relationship of nutrient intake with learning achievement with a p-value of 0.001 <0.05, there is no relationship between the variable protein intake and learning achievement with a p-value of 0.282>0.05, there is no significant relationship between protein intake p-value(0.282), carbohydrate intake p-value (0.384), and fat intake p-value (0.044) with academic performance, as all p-values are greater than 0.05. There is no relationship between nutritional status variables and learning achievement with a p-value of 0.268>0.05. Schools are expected to maximize education about nutrient intake and nutritional status so that student learning achievement gets maximum results. For puskesmas to be able to collaborate with schools to create programs to maximize nutrient intake and the importance of nutrients for elementary school children, especially at SD 064979 Medan Sunggal District.
