    Abstract
Eye fatigue problems do not only occur in formal sector workers who use computers in their daily work activities, but can also be experienced by informal sector workers, one of which is tailors. Based on an initial survey conducted by researchers on tailors at the Kwala Bekala Inpres Market, it was found that tailors experienced symptoms of eye fatigue including headaches, sore eyes, throbbing sensations, blurred and double vision, and watery eyes. This study aims to determine the factors related to eye fatigue in tailor workers at the Kwala Bekala Inpres Market, Medan City in 2025. This study is a quantitative study with a crosssectional approach. The population and sample in this study were all tailors at the Kwala Bekala Inpres Market, Medan City, totaling 35 people. Data collection was taken by interview using the ASQ-17 questionnaire to measure eye fatigue. Data collection of age, history of eye refraction, and length of work was taken by interview. While the distance to see objects was measured using a meter and lighting was measured using a Multifunction environment meter krisbow 4 in 1 KW06-291. The results of the study showed that 26 tailors (74.3%) experienced eye fatigue. Symptoms of dizziness or headaches were the most common symptoms experienced by tailors at the Kwala Bekala Inpres Market in Medan City. The results of the Fisher exact statistical test showed that there was a relationship between the history of eye refraction (p=0.050), viewing distance of objects (p=0.015), length of work (p=0.030), and lighting levels (p=0.001) with eye fatigue. It is recommended to use glasses that match the eye refraction when working, adjust the working distance, do eye relaxation, adjust the layout of the sewing work table, and can add lighting sources to the work stall to reduce the risk of eye fatigue.
