Readiness for seminar proposal examinations is a crucial stage in the process of completing a student’s final project, which requires academic, mental, and emotional preparedness. One of the psychological factors that plays a role in this readiness is self-efficacy, defined as an individual's belief in their ability to accomplish specific tasks. This study aims to determine the relationship between self-efficacy and readiness for seminar proposal examinations among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara (USU), class of 2021. A total of 70 students participated in the study, selected through accidental sampling. The research instruments consisted of a self-efficacy scale based on Bandura's theory (1997) and a seminar proposal readiness scale developed from Slameto theory (2023). Data analysis was performed using Pearson Product Moment correlation, with statistical assumption tests including normality and linearity. The results of the study indicate a significant relationship between self- efficacy and readiness for the proposal seminar examination (p < 0.05). This finding supports the proposed hypothesis, namely that there is a relationship between self-efficacy and readiness for the proposal seminar examination among undergraduate students of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Sumatera Utara, class of 2021.en_US
