This study aims to explore and understand the dynamics of happiness in individuals who migrate from urban to rural areas. In this research, happiness is understood not as a static condition, but as a process influenced by various psychological, social, and cultural factors. This study employs a qualitative approach using a phenomenological design. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations of three female respondents who moved from the city and settled in Desa Meat. The findings show that each respondent experienced a different journey of happiness. Respondent 1 experienced stagnation in the cycle of happiness, becoming trapped in the phases of dissatisfaction and frustration due to unmet basic psychological needs and minimal social support. Respondent 2 showed a more stable process with the ability to form life goals, find meaning, and selectively adapt to the new environment. Meanwhile, Respondent 3 experienced a more positive and stable journey of happiness, dominated by life meaning, full engagement, and resilience. This study also reveals that the dynamics of happiness are influenced by individuals' perceptions of their environment, adaptation strategies, the village's social structure, and gender roles in life decision-making.en_US
