The Effect of Intrinsic Work Values on Workplace Well-Being in Generation Z Employees
Abstract
This study aims to determine the influence of intrinsic work values on workplace well-being in Generation Z employees. The research method used in this study is an explanatory quantitative method. The sample in this study was 195 respondents of Generation Z employees in Indonesia. The data collection technique was carried out using a questionnaire in the form of a Google form and disseminated through the LinkedIn Platform. The data analysis technique used in this study was simple linear regression. Based on the results of statistical tests, a significance value of 0.001 < 0.05 was obtained, an R value of 0.332, and an R Square value of 0.111. The results showed that the hypothesis was accepted, there was a significant positive influence between intrinsic work values on workplace well-being in Generation Z employees of <0.001. Intrinsic work values influence workplace well-being by 11,1% and the remaining 88,9% is influenced by other factors not examined in this study.
