Male Mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) is one of the small pelagic fish landed at the Fish Auction Place (TPI) in Pantai Labu, Deli Serdang Regency, North Sumatra Province. The purpose of this study is to determine the growth, mortality and exploitation rate, and reproductive biology of male mackerel (Rastrelliger kanagurta) landed at the Fish Auction Place (TPI) in Pantai Labu. This research was conducted from October to December 2024. The method used was a random purposive sampling method with an interval of once a month. The number of fish samples was 180 with a length of 160 - 220 mm and a total weight of 0.8 - 7.3 grams. The results of the relationship between length and weight showed a negative allometric growth pattern, the condition factor was classified as flat on average in the range of 1.00 - 1.70. Based on the combined growth parameters, it has a value of L∞ (222.00 mm), K (0.51 months), and t0 (-0.73437). The results of the total annual mortality rate (Z) were 2.50, natural mortality (M) was 0.69 with the overfishing category. The results of reproduction showed a balanced sex ratio of 1: 1.093. The level of gonad maturity of male mackerel at the TKG I – TKG IV stage, Egg fecundity ranges from 1,047 – 12,193 grains and based on the diameter of the eggs, this male mackerel is classified as a partial spawner.
