Perancangan dan Implementasi Sistem Keamanan pada Pintu Geser Menggunakan RFID dan Aplikasi Blynk
Design and Implementation of a Security System on Sliding Doors Using RFID and the Blynk Application
Abstract
Security is a crucial aspect that continues to evolve with technological advancements.
Conventional key systems are considered inefficient and vulnerable to security risks such as
key duplication or loss. This research aims to design and implement a more secure and
functional IoT-based security system for a sliding door. This system integrates Radio Frequency
Identification (RFID) technology as the primary access authentication medium and the Blynk
application as a platform for real-time notifications and secondary security verification
through a One-Time Password (OTP). A NodeMCU ESP32 microcontroller is used as the
central control unit that manages all components, including the MFRC522 RFID sensor, a
stepper motor as the door actuator, a solenoid door lock, and a buzzer. The system is also
equipped with an XH-M609 module and a 12V battery as a backup power supply to ensure
continuous operation during power outages. The test results show that the system operates
reliably. RFID authentication testing successfully distinguished between registered and
unregistered cards with 100% accuracy at an effective reading distance of 0–1 cm. The layered
security mechanism, featuring "Access Denied" notifications and OTP delivery after three
failed attempts, was proven to function correctly, significantly enhancing security and
providing users with full control.
