The precast concrete industry in Indonesia is growing rapidly due to increasing infrastructure demands. PT Wijaya Karya Beton Tbk (WIKA Beton), as a leading producer, has implemented the Computer Control Machining System (CCMS) to improve production efficiency and quality. However, its implementation still faces challenges, such as non-compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), operator errors in data input, and inefficient workflow processes. This study evaluates the implementation of CCMS at PT WIKA Beton using the Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methode. A qualitative descriptive approach was used, with data collected through observations and interviews. The analysis focuses on identifying human,machine and methode that affect the effectiveness of the CCMS system. The results showed that (1) the implementation of CCMS technology must be supported by SOP updates that adapt to digital systems. (2) The main obstacles in the performance of CCMS technology are SOPs that have not been updated and do not support digital systems, lack of operator understanding, frequent sensor errors and integration of CCMS data with ERP that has not run optimally. (3) The CCMS system has been evaluated and improved based on RCA proven to increase operational effectiveness. Human factors, such as operator understanding of the system and organizational support, play a key role in the success of CCMS. Additionally, data integration need improvement to maximize the system’s benefits. By following strategic recommendations based on RCA methode, the CCMS implementation is expected to be more effective in improving operational efficiency and production quality at PT WIKA Beton.
