dc.description.abstract | Soursop leaves have many benefits in addition to having easy growing requirements. Soursop leaf tea drinks are beverage products that have high antioxidant consistency, so many benefits are obtained when consuming them. The main objective of this factory design is to implement chemical engineering disciplines and to provide initial information in designing a soursop leaf tea factory. The pre-design of the soursop leaf tea factory uses a mechanical drum drying process with a capacity of 1000 tons/year. The soursop leaf tea factory is planned to have a production capacity of 1000 tons/year with 330 working days a year. The factory is planned to be located in Tanah Jawa, Simalungun Regency, North Sumatra with a required land area of 3,387 m2, the required workforce is 115 people in the form of a Limited Liability Company (PT) led by a director with a line and staff organizational system. For the establishment and operation of the factory requires an investment capital of IDR 452,465,276,041 and a production cost of IDR 255,693,410,978. Based on the feasibility analysis, this factory has a BEP of 39.15%, ROI of 17.79%, POT of 5.62 years, RON of 29.64%, and IRR of 16.89%. From the results of the economic analysis, it can be concluded that the pre-designed tea factory from soursop leaves through a mechanical drum drying process is feasible to be established. | en_US |
