Employee performance and workload are interrelated, as an organization can assess the workload before assigning the right position to its employees. In addition to workload, employee performance is also influenced by other factors, namely the work environment. The environment plays an important role for a company in shaping the success of its performance. This study aims to determine and analyze the influence of workload and work environment on the performance of civil servants in the Class II Land Transportation Management Office of North Sumatra. This study uses a quantitative research method. The sample size in this study was 54 people, with a random sampling technique. The types of data used are primary and secondary data. Primary data is data obtained directly from respondents, and secondary data is data obtained from documents obtained from the Class II BPTD of Sumatra to support the research. The analysis technique for this study uses multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that Workload has a positive and significant effect on Employee Performance, and Work Environment has a positive and insignificant effect on Employee Performance.
