Abstract
The telecommunications industry is one of the key sectors supporting economic growth and digital transformation in Indonesia. Telecommunications companies play a strategic role in providing communication infrastructure, making them an attractive option for investors. This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of Liquidity, Activity, Solvency, and Firm Size on Profitability in telecommunications companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) during the 2019–2023 period. The population of this study consists of all telecommunications companies listed on the IDX within the specified period. Using a saturated sampling technique, a total of 20 companies were selected as the research sample. Data were collected through documentation studies of the companies' annual reports published on the official website of the Indonesia Stock Exchange. The data were analyzed using panel data multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that Liquidity has a negative and insignificant effect on profitability, Activity has a positive and significant effect on profitability, Solvency has a negative and significant effect on profitability, and Firm Size has a positive and significant effect on profitability.
