Overseas students are individuals who leave their hometowns to pursue
higher education at a university. This study involved 208 migrant students
as research subjects. This approach used a quantitative method with a
descriptive approach. Data was collected using the Oxford Happiness
Questionnaire (OHQ) scale. The results of the study indicate that the
majority of migrant students fall into the high category at 70,2%, with an
overall average score of 119.91. The seven aspects of happiness based on
Hills and Argyle's theory life satisfaction, efficacy, positive thinking,
cheerful attitude, positive self-esteem, empathy, and well-being are in the
moderate category. These findings indicate that migrant students have a
high level of happiness experiences in their daily lives, both emotionally
and cognitively.
