    Abstract
Non-Playable Character (NPC) in Games and ChatGPT have great potential to be developed to improve user interaction with computers. The application of ChatGPT to NPC is important because it creates natural conversations and NPCs can adjust responses based on player questions, making the gaming experience more exciting. This application can also save time and costs incurred by developers. The combination of NPC and ChatGPT offers increased intelligence in NPCs so that they can respond to players with more dynamic and realistic dialogue. The way to connect these two technologies is by utilizing an API that allows NPCs in the Game to interact with the ChatGPT model to generate text-based responses according to the Game's storyline. To connect the Game system with the ChatGPT model, players can interact with NPCs by sending messages. Messages from NPC characters will be sent to ChatGPT via the API, then the resulting responses are used to create more lively and realistic interactions for players. The result of this integration is a more interactive and intelligent NPC, which is not only limited to pre-programmed dialogues, but can also respond to new situations and unique questions from players. This will enhance the narrative in the Game, create a more engaging and personal experience for players, and expand the possibilities of interaction in the Game environment.
