Feasibility Analysis and Added Value of Salai Catfish Business in Kota Padangsidimpuan
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the added value and also the feasibility of the smoked catfish business in Kota Padangsidimpuan. The location of the study was determined intentionally, with a quantitative descriptive research method. This study used a saturated sampling technique with a total of 7 research samples. The method of value-added analysis used the Hayami method and the feasibility analysis used the calculation of R / C, BEP Production and BEP Price. The results showed that the added value was classified as moderate, with an added value of Rp 8,552.3 and a value-added ratio of 28.7%. The monthly income was Rp 244,310,750.75 and the total cost was Rp 191,064,432.10, resulting in an income of Rp 53,246,318.6 each month. The results of the R/C analysis show greater than one (1.27 >1), the BEP Production analysis shows Production> BEP Production (2552.5 >1,996.1 Kg), and the BEP Price analysis shows Price> BEP Price (95,714.3> Rp 74,853.8). Based on the analysis, this business is feasible to be run.
