    Abstract
The middle part of the Deli River is a densely populated area where people who live along the banks of the Deli river are one of the causes of pollutant sources for the Deli river input. Control of water pollution in the Deli river needs to be carried out by calculating the carrying capacity of the pollution load to find out the maximum limit of waste water that can still be discharged into the Deli river. The purpose of this research is to inventory the point source and non-point source sources of pollution from the residential sector and to measure the pollutant load capacity of the middle part of the Deli river using the Qual2kw model. Sampling of water is carried out based on SNI 03-7016-2004 concerning Procedures for Sampling Analysis. The water quality parameters analyzed were pH, temperature, DO, BOD and DHL. The point source pollutant sources are tributaries and drainage channels, non-point sources are domestic pollutant sources. The modeling was calibrated by trial and error and the validation test was done using the chi square test method. The validation results show the model can be accepted with a probability of 90%. Inventory of pollutant sources in 6 segments of the Deli river, there are 10 point source pollutant sources, including 3 tributaries and 7 drainage channels. The results of the Deli River pollution load capacity of DO concentration ranged from 538.47 kg/day to 1,748.57 kg/day, while the BOD concentration had exceeded the pollution load capacity of 672.53 kg/day to 3,531.65 kg/day..
