officials in the city of Medan have taken preventive and repressive measures against
violations of the Information and Electronic Transactions Law in the use of Fintech

about the risks and modes of cybercrime. Meanwhile, repressive actions include
taking strict action against violations of the ITE Law. Regarding the cooperation
between the Medan City Government, the OJK in supervising and moving Fintech
services in the event of a violation in the City of Medan, especially in Medan Sunggal
District, it has not been specifically documented in the available sources. However,
at the national level, OJK and Kominfo have established close collaboration to
supervise and crack down on illegal Fintech services.
