    Abstract
Electricity has become one of the primary needs for society. This is evidenced by the increasing number of tools supporting human activities that use electricity as an energy source. In this study, a monitoring tool was developed to monitor electricity consumption for the food industry. The purpose of this research is to design and build a monitoring tool for electrical energy consumption on a tubular heater electric grill that can be monitored via Android by users or the culinary industry. The tool designed for this monitoring system uses the PZEM-004T sensor, the Blynk platform and the NodeMCU ESP 8266. The PZEM-004T sensor functions to measure voltage, current, power, and energy contained in the electrical load. In addition, it can also monitor energy consumption and daily electricity bills. And NodeMCU is needed as a microcontroller. The results can be displayed on the Blynk platform and the I2C LCD used. After conducting the research, the results of the study were in the form of an average voltage error value of 0.76%, an average current error of 6.5%. The total power generated reached 7,547.1 Watts and the total energy consumed was 0.420 kWh, with electricity costs of around Rp. 714.01. From calculations for a week, energy consumption was recorded at 5,231 kWh with an estimated cost of Rp. 8,890.53, and the total bill for one month reached Rp. 35,562.12. The test results showed that meatballs took 10 minutes with a power consumption of 637.2 watts. Meanwhile, tilapia and mackerel fish each took 20 minutes with higher power, namely 794.4 watts and 728.2 watts. Chicken and beef, which both took 25 minutes, showed power consumption of 745.1 watts and 682.7 watts. Based on the tests carried out, it was found that each module can work well according to its function and the results displayed in the Blynk application with a serial monitor are not much different and also at a distance of 44 m the device can still be controlled using the Blynk application even though there is a delay.
