Teacher efficacy is an important factor that influences job satisfaction, particularly
among elementary school teachers. This study aims to examine the role of teacher
efficacy on job satisfaction of elementary school teachers. The participants
consisted of 43 teachers from Sultan Iskandar Muda Elementary School. This
research employed a quantitative correlational method, with data collected using
Likert scales adapted from previous studies, including the teacher efficacy scale and
the teacher job satisfaction scale. Based on the results of the linear regression
analysis, the coefficient of determination (R²) 0.10 with a p-value of 0.03 (p < 0.05).
The findings indicate that teacher efficacy plays a significant positive role,
accounting for 10% of the variance in job satisfaction among teachers at Sultan
Iskandar Muda Elementary School. This study reinforces the importance of teacher
efficacy as a contributing factor in enhancing teacher job satisfaction within the
