Analisis Kekalahan Anies-Muhaimin dalam Kemenangan Partai Nasional Demokrat (NASDEM) pada Pemilu 2024 di Kabupaten Tapanuli Tengah

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the causes of the defeat of the Anies-Muhaimin pair in the 2024 presidential election in Central Tapanuli Regency, as well as the victory of the National Democrat Party (Nasdem) in the legislative election. The background of this study focuses on the divisions in the political coalition that have an impact on public trust in presidential candidates, as well as the strength of Nasdem which has dominated the region during the previous two periods. The research method used is qualitative analysis by collecting data from various sources, including interviews and public opinion surveys. This study also considers external factors that influence the election results, such as local political dynamics and campaign strategies implemented by Nasdem. The results of the study indicate that Anies-Muhaimin's defeat was caused by the loss of public trust due to divisions in the coalition, as well as the lack of support from previously loyal voter bases. On the other hand, Nasdem's victory can be attributed to an effective campaign strategy, the selection of the right candidate, and the party's ability to adapt to the political changes that occur. The conclusion of this study emphasizes the importance of building trust and support at the grassroots level, as well as the need for a mature strategy in facing general elections. This study provides valuable insights for political parties and prospective leaders in designing more effective campaigns in the future.
