The fabrication of composite boards made from bemban fibers and teak wood powder using epoxy resin was carried out as an alternative composite material. The bemban fibers used were approximately 1 cm in length, and the teak wood powder had a particle size of 149 µm. The epoxy resin was mixed in a 1:1 ratio of resin (A) to hardener (B). The composite boards were produced with five different composition variations and were molded using a hot press at 90 °C for 25 minutes. Physical property tests included density, water absorption, and porosity, while mechanical property tests included tensile strength, flexural strength, and compressive strength. Microstructural analysis was performed using SEM-EDX. The optimal results obtained were: a density of 0.97 g/cm³, water absorption of 0.88%, porosity of 0.98%, tensile strength of 36.93 MPa, flexural strength of 184.63 MPa, and compressive strength of 32.81 MPa. The results of the density, water absorption, and porosity tests met the requirements of SNI 03-2105-2006. The flexural and tensile strength tests met the Japanese Industrial Standard (JIS) A 5905:2003. The SEM-EDX results for Sample C showed that the bemban fibers and teak wood powder were evenly distributed within the resin matrix, with good interfacial bonding between the components.en_US
