Congestive Heart Failure (CHF) is one type of non-communicable disease (NCD) with a prevalence that continues to increase every year, both globally and in Indonesia. Globally, the prevalence of heart failure is increasing according to the Global Burden of Disease (GBD), an increase of 29.4% from 2010 to 2019. Meanwhile in Indonesia, based on the 2018 Riskesdas report, the prevalence of CHF was 1.5%. The increasing number of CHF cases is associated with unhealthy lifestyles such as lack of physical activity, smoking and alcohol consumption. This study aims to determine the relationship between lifestyle and the incidence of CHF in patients at Prof. Dr. Chairuddin P. Lubis Hospital in 2025.
