Priority Analysis of Palm Oil Production Factors Using the Importance Performance Analysis (IPA) Approach (Case Study: Bahlias Estate Plantation, PT PP London Sumatera Indonesia Tbk)
Abstract
This study aims to analyze the importance and risk of production factors in palm oil at the Bahlias Estate, PT PP London Sumatra Indonesia, Tbk. The problem identification includes factors affecting production, the comparison between importance and performance, as well as the risk impact on production outcomes. The method used is Importance Performance Analysis (IPA), with data collected through questionnaires from 65 respondents. The results indicate that the factors of pest and disease control and labor productivity are of high importance but still show low performance. This places pest and disease control in the priority quadrant, indicating the need for improvement. Recommendations are made for
management to focus on pest prevention and enhancing labor training to increase palm oil productivity. This study is expected to serve as a reference for developing more effective production strategies
