dc.description.abstractAdolescence is a transitional phase childhood to adulthood. Adolescents are concidered valuable assets and the hope of a nation, playing a crucial role in shaping the future direction of the country. Therefore, the health and quality of life of adolescents require special attention. Adolescent girl are a group particularly vulnerable to anemia. Anemia occurs when hemoglobin levels in the blood are below normal or due to a decreased number of red blood cells in the body. The purpose of this senior practicum report is to canduct early prevention, management, and education regarding anemia in adolescent girl. The method used in this activity involved measuring hemoglobin levels using a hemoglobin measuring device (Accupro 4 in 1) and distributing questionnaries to indentify constributing factors to the anemia problem. Based on nursing care management for adolescent girls through anemia screening in Sei Sikambing Sub-district, Medan Sunggal District, it was found that three out of five participants (60%) had hemoglobin levels below normal, indicating mild anemia. The causes of anemia among adolescents girls in this area were primarily due to irin deficiency, influenced by dietary patterns and nutrition, lifestyle, and history of iron tablet consumption.en_US
