Belawan Sicanang Subdistrict is the largest area among the six districts of Medan Belawan; however, 59% of its territory consists of swamp land and mangrove forests, which are uninhabitable. Low socioeconomic status, limited educational facilities, and the increasingly frequent and severe tidal floods restrict adolescents' opportunities to develop their life potential, thereby threatening their Psychological Well-Being. The Adolescent Posyandu Program (Program Posyandu Remaja) was introduced as an effort to help adolescents manage the challenges they face while supporting the enhancement of their Psychological Well-Being. This study aims to examine the effectiveness of the Adolescent Posyandu Program in improving the Psychological Well-Being of adolescents in Belawan Sicanang Subdistrict. The study employed a quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental nonequivalent control group design, involving adolescents participating in the Adolescent Posyandu Program as the Experimental Group (42 participants) and adolescents not participating in the program as the Control Group (63 participants). The instrument used was the Indonesian version of Ryff’s Psychological Well-Being Scales, adapted by Fadhil (2021). The results of the analysis using the Mann–Whitney U test indicated that the Adolescent Posyandu Program was not effective in improving the Psychological Well-Being of adolescents in Belawan Sicanang (p = 0.056 > 0.05). Nevertheless, the analysis showed significant differences in the dimensions of Self-Acceptance (p = 0.028 < 0.05) and Positive Relations with Others (p = 0.012 < 0.05) between the Experimental and Control Groups.
