    Abstract
The development of information technology has brought significant transformation to digital payment systems, particularly through the adoption of e-wallets as fast. convenient, and secure transaction solutions. The digitalization era encourages society to shift from conventional payment systems to more efficient digital platforms. Medan City, as one of Indonesia's metropolitan areas, shows an increasing trend in e-wallet usage, especially with the rapid growth of the DANA application in recent years. However, the adoption of digital payment technologies still faces challenges related to users risk perception and trust. This study aims to analyze the influence of risk perception and perceived ease of use on the interest in using the DANA e-wallet in Medan City, with e-trust as an intervening variable. A quantitative approach with an associative research design was employed. The study population consists of DANA users in Medan City, totaling 2,474,166 people, categorized as an infinite population. The sample size was 165 respondents selected using purposive sampling, with the criterion of having used DANA at least twice in the last three months. Data were analyzed using SEM-PLS to examine structural relationships among variables. The findings reveal that risk perception has a direct negative but insignificant effect on the interest in using the DANA e-wallet. Conversely, perceived ease of use has a direct positive and significant effect an usage interest. E-trust has a direct positive and significant effect on usage interest as well. Indirectly, perceived ease of use positively and significantly affects interest in using the DANA e-wallet through e-trust, while risk perception negatively and insignificantly affects usage interest through e-trust as an intervening variable in Medan City.
