Pengaruh Aplikasi Vitamin B1 terhadap Pertumbuhan dan Hasil Produksi Beberapa Varietas Tanaman Kedelai (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill)
The Effect of Vitamin B1 Application on the Growth and Yield of Some Soybean (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill) Varieties.
Abstract
This study aims to determine the effect of vitamin B1 application on the
growth and production of several varieties of soybean (Glycine Max (L.) Merrill).
This research was conducted at Namo Bintang land, Pancur Batu, Deli Serdang,
North Sumatra with an altitude of ± 25 meters above sea level, from January to
May 2025. This study used a Split Plots Design using two treatment factors. The
first factor is vitamin B1 treatment (P): P0 (control), P1 (soaked seed in 1% vitamin
B1), P2 (sprayed plant with 1% vitamin B1). The second factor is soybean variety
(V): V1 (Anjasmoro), V2 (Grobogan), V3 (Dega 1). Observation variables included
plant height, number of leaves, number of branches, flowering age, harvest age,
stalk weight, pod weight per plant, seed weight per plant, number of pods per plant,
number of seeds per plant, weight of 100 seeds. The study results showed that the
application of vitamin B1 had a significant effect on number of pods, pod weight,
number of seeds and seed weight per plant. The highest number of pods, pod
weight, number of seeds and seed weight per plant were found in treatment P1
(soybean seeds soaked in a vitamin B1 1 %), and were significantly different from
P2 and P0 (control), followed by P2 (soybean plants sprayed with a 1% vitamin
B1) and P0 (control). The treatment of varieties had a significant effect on the
number of leaves at the age of 8 weeks, flowering age, harvest age, and 100 seed
weight. The Anjasmoro variety has a greater number of leaves, a longer flowering
and harvesting age than the Grobogan and Dega 1 and a lower weight per 100
seeds than Dega 1.While the interaction between the two treatments had no
significant effect.
