    Abstract
This study, mesoporous Zn0.9Co0.1Fe2O4 (ZnCoF) and coffee grounds activated carbon (CGAC) particles have been synthesized as materials to obtain supercapacitors that have high performance. The synthesis process was carried out by hydrothermal method for 8 hours at 160oC and then high temperature heating at 900oC for 2 hours with a mass variation ratio between ZnCoF and CGAC (0:100; 25:75; 50:50; 75:25; and 100:0) wt%. Then characterization was carried out including: morphological properties and particle size using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM), and Energy Diffraction X-Ray Spectroscopy (EDS). Furthermore, to determine the structure of the material using X-Ray Diffraction (XRD) and Fourier-Transform Infrared (FT-IR). The electrochemical properties of the material were investigated using Cyclic Voltammetry (CV) and Galvanostatic Charge/Discharge (GCD). The result of the fabricated material is that the grains have been distributed with the average particle size of each sample ranging from 30-150 nm. Then it has the highest peak in crystals with miller indices (002), (104) and (311). Furthermore, it has the main functional groups namely Zn-O, Co-O, Fe-O and C=C with wave numbers 432.05 cm-¹, 580.57 cm-¹, 670.86 cm-¹, and 889.18 cm-¹. And finally has the highest specific capacitance value of 403.976 F/g with an area of 0.34742 VA, then the highest energy density at a value of 2.309 Wh/kg and the highest power density value at a value of 271.416 W/kg. The optimum composition is obtained in the E3 (50:50) wt% variation which can be applied as a candidate electrode for supercapacitors.
