The use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) is a crucial effort in protecting healthcare workers from the risks of occupational accidents and nosocomial infections. In reality, many healthcare workers still do not use Protective Equipment (PPE) optimally. This study aims to determine the relationship between knowledge and attitude with the use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) among nurses at inpatient instalation of RSUD Rantauprapat. This research employed a cross-sectional approach. The population for this study included all nurses working in the non-surgical, isolation, and pediatric inpatient units, with a sample size of 58 nurses selected using a total sampling technique. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires and analyzed using the Chi-Square test. The variables examined were nurses' knowledge, attitude, and their use of PPE. The analysis results indicate that there is a relationship between knowledge and PPE use (p = 0,000 < p = 0,05), and there is also a relationship between attitude and PPE use (p = 0,000 < p = 0,05) among nurses at inpatient instalation of RSUD Rantauprapat. It is suggested that the hospital management enhance supervision, issue warnings to nurses who do not comply with proper Protective Equipment (PPE) usage, and impose sanctions on nurses who fail to use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
